Project Overview: Flawless Skin, a med spa based in Virginia Beach, VA, offers specialized skincare and aesthetic treatments. They needed a website that captured their brand’s elegance and served as a functional, client-friendly hub. The project’s aim was to design a visually captivating website with cohesive branding, smooth navigation, and integrated SEO to boost their online presence.
Design Process: Beginning with custom design mockups in Adobe Illustrator, I collaborated closely with Flawless Skin to bring their vision to life. To reflect their coastal aesthetic, I created hand-drawn palm leaves in Adobe Fresco, which served as a signature design element throughout the site, including a custom background pattern. Using Adobe Photoshop, I refined images for consistency and brand alignment. I also integrated essential legal pages, a Cookie banner, and SEO practices, ensuring compliance and visibility. Additionally, I incorporated a FloDesk newsletter sign-up, seamlessly linking it with the site to grow their email list and support future marketing efforts.
Client Partnership: A crucial part of the project was rebranding their online presence by updating the domain from flawlessskinbyalexis.com to flawlessskinvb.com, aligning with their brand’s growth. To help them share the news of their website launch with their audience, I used Adobe Express to create social media collateral for Instagram and Facebook. This included posts, stories, and reels specifically tailored to announce their updated website, creating excitement and engagement with their followers.
A Site for the Future: We established an ongoing maintenance agreement to keep Flawless Skin’s site running optimally and aligned with their goals. Through this continued partnership, I can make timely updates, adapt SEO as needed, and support their evolving brand, ensuring their website remains a valuable asset in their business expansion.
